A sign-in link, sometimes called a magic link, lets you sign in to BackOps without typing a password. Instead of entering credentials, you ask BackOps to email you a one-time link, and clicking that link signs you in.
To use one:
Go to the BackOps login page.
Enter your work email address in the Email field.
Click Email me a sign-in link instead of Continue.
Open the email and click the link inside.
You will be signed in without needing your password.
This is useful if you have forgotten your password, if you would rather not type a password on a shared or borrowed machine, or if you are setting up BackOps on a new device and do not have your password to hand. It uses the same account and the same permissions as any other sign-in method, so nothing about your access changes based on how you signed in.
Note that you enter your email address first, before choosing how to sign in. The Email me a sign-in link button sits directly beneath Continue, so if you have already typed your address you do not need to start again.
