Internal Team Members
Anyone on your team with access to the BackOps AI web app can use Dock Chat to:
Ask questions about internal operations, orders, inventory, and customer issues
Generate draft responses and summaries
Access all connected systems and the full knowledge hub (based on their workspace permissions)
To add a new team member, follow these steps.
Brand Users (External Clients or Partners)
Once invited through the Brand Access flow, brand users can log in to the web app and use Dock Chat as well but with restricted access:
They can only view and ask about data that’s been explicitly shared with their brand
They’ll have access to a limited set of documents, responses, and system data
Their usage is siloed from internal teams to ensure security and compliance
Brand users can access Dock Chat from Gmail, Outlook, Slack, or directly via the BackOps AI web interface whichever channel works best for them.
