The Dock Chat UI is a conversational interface available directly in the BackOps AI web app. It allows you to interact with Dock like a teammate. Just type your questions, and Dock will use your connected systems and knowledge hub to respond in real time. No need to open your inbox or Slack, just chat, and Dock handles the rest.
Where to Access It
You can access the Chat UI by logging into your BackOps AI workspace.
From the main sidebar, click on Chat
The chat interface will open in the main window
Type your question and hit enter — Dock will respond immediately
No setup required. No extra tools needed. Just type and go.
What Can You Do With It?
Dock Chat UI is designed to handle all your day-to-day operational questions. Here are some examples of what you can ask:
Order & Shipment Tracking
“What’s the status of PO #7821?”
“When is the next shipment for order 23994?”
Customer Support & Drafts
“Draft a reply to the customer asking about a delivery delay for #7638297.”
“Summarize all pending tickets for Vendor A.”
Inventory & System Lookups
“How many units are available for Part X123?”
Dock automatically pulls from the systems you’ve connected including ERP, WMS, CRM, ticketing tools, and documents uploaded to your knowledge hub to provide rich, context-aware responses.
Getting Started
If you haven’t already:
Make sure your systems are connected via onboarding or settings
Upload key documents to the knowledge hub (e.g., SOPs, reference guides, SLAs)
Invite your team and brand users as needed
Once set up, open the Chat UI and start typing. Dock is ready to help.
