Both options help you use Dock’s response in your email, but they serve slightly different purposes depending on how polished you want the reply to be.
“Add to reply” takes the raw response from Dock’s chat panel and drops it directly into your email draft. This is great when you just want to reuse a quick answer, a copied policy, or a snippet of information—without any extra formatting. It's fast and flexible, especially if you plan to adjust the message yourself.
“Generate draft” creates a clean, structured, customer-ready response. Dock rewrites the information into a full message with proper tone, complete sentences, and formatting that’s ready to send. It’s ideal when you want Dock to do the writing for you and need something that sounds polished and professional right away.
In short:
Use “Add to reply” when you want to work with the raw answer.
Use “Generate draft” when you want Dock to turn it into a complete, customer-facing message.
Both options give you control. Just pick the one that fits your workflow.
